This is the first visual PodLeaders interview. I hope to do a good few more in the coming months.
This interview is with Conor O’Neill of LouderVoice.com and Conor discusses his recently launched review aggregator site.
The quality of the video isn’t great - any/all tips on how to improve the video greatly accepted.

Awesome - great stuff for a first time effort - and it was Sam Sethi who Twittered it so he gets the cred for pinging me.
Thanks Tom, I’m beating off Hollywood agents as I type
good stuff. Although, without doing some serious travelling it may not be as easy to get the same level of guests as skype provides (maybe remote video interviews?)!
Other feedback would be to point the camera down a little more - no need to make me download 1/3 of the video being with blank wall.
Maybe locate it outside/nice view with better lighting?
And how about publishing the audio track as mp3 in your normal feed?
Good first go though.
-Robin.
@Dennis - thanks
@Conor - thanks for being the guinea pig!
@Robin - I’m definitely drawing from a smaller pool here in Ireland but there are some great stories here to be told too.
Thanks for the suggestions too Robin. Put the excess of wall down to the inexperienced cameraman. I had the same thought when I looked back over the recording. Hopefully I won’t make that mistake again.
Locating it outside might be a problem (think Irish weather - how quickly they forget!!!). Also I wanted a plain background (to reduce distractions and to reduce file sizes).
Publishing the audio track as an mp3 is an interesting idea definitely. I must look into how to do that.
Thanks again.
Good stuff guys. Well done. I think you should get a cheesy ‘city scape’ backdrop though
Finally got a chance to watch it all last night. Great stuff lads!
I have to say I’m not normally a fan of ‘talking heads’ video podcasts, usually preferring just to listen to an MP3 as I exercise, unless something is being demonstrated, so this was great because I know you both to see, because Conor is so naturally expressive, and of course because you also included a demo in the second half.
Looking forward to follow up video podcasts with Sxoop, Nooked, PutPlace and so on.
Thanks James. Expressive = Marty Feldman with glasses impression
I second Robin and James…
The fantastic thing about audio podcasts is that you can make that little unproductive time that’s left more useful… but it’s impossible to watch a video during long car drives or in the gym
