Hi, my name is Tom Raftery and I have been running a series of podcasts on my main blog. The podcasts have become very popular so I decided they merited a domain of their own - so here we are. The podcasts are interviews with Thought Leaders in various areas of Technology. The existing podcasts, I will link to from here and all new podcasts will be posted on this site. Look out for my podcast with Matt Mullenweg and Donncha O’Caoimh (Matt is the founder of WordPress and Donncha is the lead developer of WordPress.com) later this week.
Thanks for joining me here - let’s make some great podcasts.
Delighted these are doing so well for you Tom! Have you added the feed to iTunes? I can’t find it there so just wondering if you’re going to add it.
Dave - I submitted the site to iTunes yesterday morning and I received my iTunes a couple of minutes ago - it is:
http://ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=107618400
The mail said that it could take up to 24 hours to be active,
thanks for the interest,
Tom
Awesome Tom, now you just have to get up there into the Top 20!!
Dave - on checking that link, I just get a stream of data, dunno if you get the same thing…
However, if I change the url to:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=107618400
it seems to work. Is this the same for you?
Yep Tom I’m seeing the same behaviour, the second one gives me a page with an ‘I Have/Haven’t iTunes’ link to click, the first link gives me an XML file of some sort.
Still can’t find the podcast on iTunes, I can just find your own website podcasts on iTunes.
Incidentally are you using Feedburner to do the cool iTunes stuff for your RSS feed?

Dave, I presume (hoping!) the fact that it can’t be found on iTunes is part of the 24 hours they mentioned in ther email.
And yup, Feedburner is handling the rss.
Nope working now. Well if you follow through the link you can subscribe to the iTunes feed, I still can’t find it with a search for PodLeaders though.
Just so you know that last message posted fine but I got sent to a page with this on it -
Dave,
I have updated the back-end of the blog now. If you get a chance, can you try to comment again and let me know how you get on?
Thanks,
Tom
OK I’ll see if this works, BTW I have a two duplicate comments about 3 comments up!
Worked perfectly!
Wohoo!
