Steve Rubel Podcast

My interview with Steve Rubel was a blast - Steve sounds like he mainlines coffee! He’s a great interview - intelligent, and insightful but with a great capacity for self-depracation.

The show notes for the interview are here and you can download the interview here (12.1mb mp3).

Darren Barefoot podcast

The Darren Barefoot interview went really well. Darren shared his views on Web 2.0 (”rounded corners”) and why businesses should blog. The show notes for the interview are here and you can download the interview here (5.9mb mp3).

Michael Arrington podcast

Next I did a podcast with Michael Arrington of TechCrunch - this was a great podcast as Michael generously gave of his time and his insights - read the show notes here and download the interview here (6.6mb mp3).

TJ McIntyre and Digital Rights Ireland podcast

I interviewed Chair of Digital Rights Ireland and Law Lecturer in UCD TJ McIntyre next. TJ amazed me with the lack of rights available to Irish citizens online - the show notes for that podcast are online and the interview is available for download here (8.4mb mp3).

Robert Scoble podcast

My first interview-type podcast was with Robert Scoble - this was in the run-up to the 2005 IT@Cork annual conference. The podcast was content great but the audio quality leaves a bit to be desired. The podcast show notes give more detail and the podcast itself is available for download here (13mb mp3)

New blog for podcasts

Hi, my name is Tom Raftery and I have been running a series of podcasts on my main blog. The podcasts have become very popular so I decided they merited a domain of their own - so here we are. The podcasts are interviews with Thought Leaders in various areas of Technology. The existing podcasts, I will link to from here and all new podcasts will be posted on this site. Look out for my podcast with Matt Mullenweg and Donncha O’Caoimh (Matt is the founder of WordPress and Donncha is the lead developer of WordPress.com) later this week.

Thanks for joining me here - let’s make some great podcasts.
